EARTH DEMOCRACY. Today, more than ever, we need to move away from the paradigm of nature as dead matter. We need to move to an ecological paradigm, and for this, the best teacher is nature herself.
Earth Democracy teaches the freedom for all species to evolve within the web of life, and the freedom and responsibility of humans, as members of the Earth family, to recognize, protect, and respect the rights of other species. Earth Democracy is a shift from anthropocentrism to ecocentrism. This course offers an immersive exploration of biodiversity, agroecology, and seed sovereignty, providing a comprehensive resource for individuals and communities interested in biodiversity-based food systems and cultures of resilience. It encompasses practical insights, educational tools, and initiatives that promote ecological stewardship and empower global movements toward food sovereignty and environmental justice.

GANDHI ON ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL FREEDOM: Swaraj, Swadeshi, Satyagraha The will address the multiple crises that globalization has unleashed – the economic crisis, the ecological crisis and the political crisis.
Gandhi’s philosophy and politics are more relevant than ever before in finding ways to live peacefully, equitably, and sustainably on this fragile planet. Now in its 12th year, this course offers an immersive exploration of biodiversity, agroecology, and seed sovereignty, providing a comprehensive resource for individuals and communities interested in biodiversity-based food systems and cultures of resilience. It encompasses practical insights, educational tools, and initiatives that promote ecological stewardship and empower global movements toward food sovereignty and environmental justice.
Humans are part of the Earth, we are members of the one Earth Family. Growing and eating food is participating in the ecological process of the Earth Family Growing and eating food is participating in the ecological processes for the Earth.
Industrial chemical agriculture based on fossil fuels and fossil chemicals which began after the wars is a war against the Earth, her biodiversity, her soil, water and climate Each of us, whether we are farmers or eaters, faces a choice between two food systems One is an industrial system based on globalized cooperate control, chemicals and poisons, GMO and patent monopolies & fossil fuels which is contributing to 75% of the planet's ecological destruction, wiping out the livelihoods of small farmers and family farms, and creating an epidemic of food style diseases. The second food system is based on ecological laws, strong vibrant local living economies, ecological processes that rejuvenate our soil, biodiversity, water and climate It is based on the sun's energy not fossil fuels from the growing to the cooking & processing of food.
